LEXUS UX 200 UPGRADES

The Lexus UX 200 Luxury’s driving efficiency now includes an engine stop / start system. It has the latest-generation 12.3-inch HD touchscreen display replacing the previous 10.3- inch version. The touchscreen display offers operation for satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and other useful vehicle functions. Pure electric vehicles are still relatively rare in Australia but the Japanese company is keen to see a rapidly increasing number. The Lexus UX300e Luxury and the Sports Luxury are sold in this country our test car was the Luxury. Next-generation Lexus NX will arrive in Australia in November and local details have been provided in advance. It sits on a platform with a longer wheelbase to provide more interior space. LEXUS ES UPGRADED AND ADDITIONAL MODEL INTRODUCED

Australian specifications for the Lexus ES, that will be on sale from 29 September have been announced. The biggest news is the introduction of an ES 250 variant. It will have a new design 2.5-litre petrol four-cylinder engine 152kW of power and 243Nm of torque with combined-cycle fuel consumption of 6.6 litres per 100 kilometres.
