Genesis has unveiled its first dedicated electric vehicle, the GV60. Though it’s called an SUV by Genesis it’s very coupe-like in its appearance. it’s streamlined from the bonnet to the rear spoiler, has a short front overhang and sits on a long wheelbase at 2,900mm. GENESIS GV70 LUXURY SUV

Genesis has launched the GV70, a medium luxury SUV, to Australia. It’s offered with a choice of three engines driving through an eight-speed automatic and either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Genesis GV70 will offer eleven exterior colours, seven interior colours and four trim insert to let buyers personalise their GV70, suiting their individual preferences. GENESIS G80 SPORT: INITIAL DETAILS

Upmarket Korean car maker Genesis has released pictures of its upcoming Genesis G80 Sport luxury sedan. The car’s front has a radiator grille in dark glossy chrome, a wing-shaped bumper and there are black bezels around the headlamps. Dark glossy chrome is used on the side mouldings. GENESIS G80 SEDAN NOW HAS TURBO-DIESEL OPTION

The Genesis G80 sedan now has the option of a four-cylinder 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. It generates 154 kW of power at 3,800 rpm and 442 Nm of torque with a solid spread between 1,750 and 2,750 rpm. Genesis engine has variable geometry turbine ball-bearing type turbocharger to reduce friction. This improves turbo response and better fuel efficiency. GENESIS GV70 COMING SOON

Hot on the heels of the introduction of the Genesis GV80 SUV to Australia the Korean company has announced that it will bring its smaller brother, the GV70 SUV here in July. It will be offered with petrol and diesel turbocharged engines, all with an eight-speed automatic and either rear- or all-wheel drive.
