GENESIS G80 SEDAN NOW HAS TURBO-DIESEL OPTION

The Genesis G80 sedan now has the option of a four-cylinder 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. It generates 154 kW of power at 3,800 rpm and 442 Nm of torque with a solid spread between 1,750 and 2,750 rpm.

Genesis engine has variable geometry turbine ball-bearing type turbocharger to reduce friction. This improves turbo response and better fuel efficiency.

The diesel models have a new frontal shape with a different lower bumper. at the rear there are hidden exhausts and chrome accents.

Like the others in the Genesis G80 range the diesel is offered in eleven exterior colours, five different interior colours and two different open-pore genuine-wood trims.

The Euro5 emissions compatible engine has an official combined fuel consumption figure of 6.6 litres per 100km.
