Subaru Australia has given us details of the sixth generation Outback that will be on sale here from March, 2021.
It will sit on the Subaru Global Platform underpinnings, providing safety and efficiency benefits.
Outback will gain an even higher level of safety and driver assist technology, including the Driver Monitoring System that helps maintain driver alertness. It will have the latest generation of Subaru’s EyeSight driver assist system across the range.
Every model will be powered by a 2.5-litre horizontally opposed Boxer engine.
All new Outbacks will feature the model’s best-ever braked towing capacity, of 2,000 kilograms.
Subaru Australia General Manager, Blair Read, said: “Outback continues to set the standard for safety and driveability with an advanced suite of safety and driver assist technologies.
“Outback will have an incredible specification list cementing it as the flagship of the Subaru range. This will appeal to both loyal Subaru customers and newcomers, who are increasingly aware of the compelling whole-of-life value that Subaru ownership represents.”
