PORSCHE CAYENNE GTS V8

Porsche_Cayenne_GTS_V8_frontPorsche has added the Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupé to its SUV line-up. Instead of the 3.6-litre V6 biturbo engine from its predecessor there’s now a V8 under the bonnet of the Cayenne GTS. This makes a return to the V8 GTSs of the past. Great news for all Porsche lovers who believe there’s no substitute for cubic inches.

With an output of 338 kW and 620 Nm of torque, the 4.0-litre biturbo engine lets both GTS models sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds when teamed with the Sport Chrono package, that package is standard on the Cayenne GTS Coupé, but optional on Cayenne GTS.

The chassis set-up of the new Cayenne GTS models uses standard three-chamber adaptive air suspension which lowers the car by 10 millimetres and includes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) for sporty damper control. Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) is also standard.

New Cayenne GTS models have satin-gloss black 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels. The front air intakes, side window trims, tailpipes of the sports exhaust system and the model and Porsche logos on the rear are all in black. The LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System and the LED taillight bar are dark-tinted to continue the black theme.

Standard eight-way sports seats, exclusively reserved for the new GTS models, offer optimal support for dynamic cornering due to the increased height of their side bolsters.

Alcantara is used on the roof lining, seat centre panels, centre console armrests and doors. GTS logos are featured on the front doors, door entry sills, tachometer and head restraints.

Personalisation options include the GTS interior package, with additional colour accents in Carmine Red or Crayon, for items such as decorative stitching.

In Australia, the new Porsche Cayenne GTS and Cayenne Coupe GTS will be equipped with a 90-litre fuel tank, a 20-inch collapsible spare wheel, metallic paint, privacy glass, automatically dimming mirrors, driver memory package, front seat heating, as well as comfort access.

A Head-Up Display, digital radio and BOSE Surround Sound System are standard. Aussie imports of the Cayenne GTS will have a panoramic roof system. Cayenne GTS Coupe has a fixed panoramic glass roof.

The new Porsche Cayenne GTS models are available to order now and will arrive in Australia in the fourth quarter of 2020.
