AUDI Q3 2012 – 2020

The Audi Q3 small-medium crossover SUV arrived in Australia in March 2012. It has an almost coupe-like profile that has become increasingly common in crossovers. Back seat space is okay, but this is a relatively small vehicle so it may be necessary for occupants to come to a compromise on legroom if tall adults are travelling. Try out the rear seat headroom is a little limited. Children are usually fine, but if they are approaching teenage years take them along for your pre-purchase test drives. Ride comfort is good and… Read more

The Audi A4 is sold in a big variety of bodies; sedan, a two-door cabriolet and an Avant station wagon. A further variation is the A4 allroad quattro. Based on the Avant it has increased ground clearance, as well as added body and underbody protection, it’s certainly not… Read more

At the same time a new high-performance SQ2 was added and which will justify a separate review down the track. Priced at $43,600 plus on-roads, the 35 TFSI has LED… Read more

If the Audi R8 supercar could be called a beast, by the same token, the SQ2 small sports utility vehicle, by the German maker, surely earns the title little devil. The figures speak for themselves. The R8 quattro serves up 449 kW and 560 Nm, launching the car from rest to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, the SQ2 quattro 221 kW and 400 Nm, a tad over a second slower. Unremarkably, cost is $395,000 (R8) against $64,400 (SQ2), plus on-roads, but who’s counting? With a worldwide shift to SUVs, after… Read more
