A couple of weeks back I concluded my road test of the BMW M850i xDrive Gran Coupe by writing that I had fallen in love it. But, costing close to $300,000 on the road, it was way out of my reach. BMW M3 AND M4 SPARK HUGE CONTROVERSY

BMW M3 and M4 will arrive in Australia for local deliveries in the first quarter of 2021. The first pictures have created huge controversy, with the Dislikes leading the Likes by a big margin. My opinion? Recent BMW models have featured a grille that’s become harder and harder to distinguish from other cars – these new models have changed all that in a big way – I love it! The M3 and M4 are both powered by a six-cylinder in-line engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo in two states of… Read more

BMW M850I GRAN COUPÉ XDRIVE REVIEW

Having four-door practicality in a full-on sportscar is a clever bit of engineering by the guys and gals from Bayerische Motoren Werke in Germany. To make the extra space for the back seats the Gran Coupé is longer than the 8 Series Coupé and Convertible and rides on a 200mm greater wheelbase. It’s more likely to be purchased by those looking for a fast long distance cruiser than a sports machine, but the choice is there thanks to the ability to select from variable suspension choices. BMW 8 Series Gran… Read more
