BMW M5 Competition updates for 2021 include changes to its dynamics, technology, styling and equipment. In an interesting move it will be offered only in Competition-spec as the Australian importer says, “ours is a performance-loving market”.
The styling package includes new front, side and rear designs. New high definition 12.3-inch centre control display is an excellent size for being seen at a quick glance.
A revised suspension set-up integrates dampers from BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupé.
New Setup and M Mode buttons provide simplified control of the performance elements. The M5’s 4.4-litre V8 engine has M TwinPower Turbo technology and produces 460kW and 750Nm. The zero to 100 km/h time is just 3.3-seconds.
Priced from $244,900, plus on-road costs BMW M5 Competition 2021 is offered for Australian deliveries from October 2020
