Swedish car maker Polestar has made its first financial investment as a company, investing in extreme fast-charging battery technology innovator, StoreDot. POLESTAR 2 DELIVERIES BEGIN SOON

Deliveries of the Polestar 2 all-electric are set to begin in March with pre-configured vehicles. This follows Polestar’s test-drive roadshow, which has enabled over 1,600 customers to experience Polestar 2 in person at locations in Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast and Brisbane. POLESTAR IS TRIALLING A FAST-CHARGING SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON THE NULLARBOR PLAIN.

Polestar, the premium Swedish electric vehicle brand, says it’s channeling the spirit of past Aussie pioneers by trialing a world-first fast-charging system for electric vehicles on Australia’s Nullarbor Plain. Covering more than 700 kilometres between the West Australian towns of Caiguna and Southern Cross, the all-electric Polestar 2 is powered up at the fully off-grid, and self- contained BiØfil fast chargers en-route to Perth.
