JAGUAR F-PACE DIESEL REVIEW

Jaguar F-Pace is a stylish SUV that’s traditionally British in its styling, both exterior and interior. Like almost all in its class it’s aimed at being a people mover rather than an off-road vehicle. It is offered with a choice of two or all-wheel drive. Buyers tend to opt for the AWD, feeling that it gives them the feeling of travelling in a serious vehicle that they may take onto dirt roads of varying degrees of ruggedness. In any case, those who do want to get serious in have… Read more

JAGUAR XJ 2010 – 2018

2013 Jaguar XJR

The all-new 2010 Jaguar XJ has sleek, almost futuristic, lines. Externally, the ‘Jaguar grille’ was the only major carryover from the past. Though the body has ultra-modern styling, the interior has could be optioned with traditional leather-and-wood options – the best of both worlds that please the traditionalists who loved the original XJ models. There’s a nice wrap-around effect that carries the dash area neatly into the doors. So good is the shape of the 2010 Jaguar XJ that it’s largely unchanged nine years later. There were minor facelifts in… Read more

JAGUAR I-PACE REVIEW

Jaguar has leapt into the all-electric vehicle pool with the I-Pace to pounce on any early adopters of the revolutionary zero-emission vehicle – and it has immediately paid off. JAGUAR IS WORKING WITH BASF TO RECYCLE HIGH GRADE PLASTICS

It’s estimated that the amount of waste plastic is predicted to exceed 12 million tonnes globally by 2050. Today, not all of this plastic can be recycled for use in automotive applications – especially in vehicle parts that are required to meet the most exacting safety and quality standards. However, working in conjunction with chemical company, BASF, Jaguar Land Rover is part of a pilot project called ChemCycling that upcycles domestic waste plastic, otherwise destined for landfill or incinerators, into a new high-quality material. The waste plastic is transformed to… Read more

CAT BRINGS THE SOFT TOUCH TO A HARD HEART

A cat with nine lives might be taking things too far, but one feline of the automotive variety has at least two. The Jaguar XE 300 Sport, like the ultimate furry friend, will pad around all day as quiet as a mouse, but switch to Sport mode and the claws come out, together with a strident engine soundtrack to match. The XE range is the British answer to the Germans’ – Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, not forgetting the Italians’ Alfa Romeo Giulia and assorted others from the… Read more

JAGUAR XK 2006 – 2015

2006 Jaguar XK

By EWAN KENNEDY, Marque Motoring CAPTION: A. B. C. 2015 Jaguar XK BODY COPY Jaguar XK is a large British sportscar with styling that’s unashamedly based on that of the almost legendary Jaguar E-Type. From the nose with its big oval opening, to the rounded tail the XK’s design works exceptionally well. In this review we will look at the all-new Jaguar XK launched here in July 2006, partly because those before it are getting on in years as it’s made entirely from aluminium, with panels rivetted and bonded using… Read more

JAG ON THE PACE WITH COMPACT SUV

Jaguar continues apace (pun intended) to cover all automotive bases with the recent addition of the E-Pace compact SUV to its vehicle roster. So, what’s on offer? It comes in 38 variants thanks to what Jaguar calls its ‘Ultimate Customer Choice’, which allows you to build just about any kind of E-Pace you fancy. MAKE MONEY WHILE DRIVING

The future is getting closer all the time, usually for the better, though there are those who prefer to keep things the way they have always been. As a clever example: drivers of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles will soon be able to earn cryptocurrency and make payments on the move using innovative connected car services currently being tested. Using ‘Smart Wallet’ technology, they will earn credits by enabling their cars to automatically report useful road condition data such as traffic congestion or potholes to navigation providers or local authorities….
