The fifth generation of the Volkswagen Caddy will arrive in Australia in July. It’s coming in a variety of models ranging from commercial vans to people movers. NEW NISSAN GT-R NISMO FIRST DETAILS

Nissan has unveiled the newest iteration of the Nissan GT-R Nismo. It’s planned to be launched in Japan in October. A special edition will be introduced at the same time. Both models will be offered in the new, NISMO-exclusive NISMO Stealth Grey body colour, which was inspired by track tarmacs GT-Rs have set records and competed on. NEW HAVAL JOLION IS NOW IN AUSTRALIA

The first shipments of the Haval Jolion LE (Launch Edition) SUV have arrived into Australia. The LE is available in two grades initially, the mid-grade Lux and range-topping Ultra. Only 300 units are coming to Australia. The Jolion is built on the company’s new global lightweight modular platform which Haval says will provide a more refined and enjoyable driving experience. Nissan JUKE is now offered in a vibrant new trim level, the ST-L+, as well as a colourful new trim option, the Ti Energy Orange. The JUKE ST-L+ is based on the ST-L model which already has 19-inch alloy wheels, ambient interior lighting, a 7.0-inch Advanced Drive Assist Display, and 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto~ capability. FCAI HAS RELEASED CO2 EMISSIONS DATA FOR EACH AUTOMOTIVE BRAND

The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) has released the CO2 emissions data for each automotive brand as the second reporting step of its industry-led voluntary CO2 Emissions Standard. The results and methodology used to calculate the CO2 Standard can be located at: https://www.fcai.com.au/fuel-quality-and-emissions/fuel-quality-and-emissions. The combined industry result was released as the first step on 25 March. Volkswagen Australia’s best-selling model, the Tiguan SUV has received update and will go sale Downunder in two stages. The Tiguan 162TSI and the new 147TDI models arrive in late May followed in June by the 132TSI. Tiguan comes in three grades: Life; Elegance; and the sport-themed R-Line. The Reliant Scimitar was an Italian styled, British-built sports car that proved very popular in the USA. FCAI – MARCH 2021 SALES FIGURES

The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), the peak body for the automotive industry in Australia, today released the new vehicle sales figures for March 2021. A total of 100,005 vehicles were sold in March 2021, up 22.4 per cent on March 2020 sales when 81,690 vehicles were sold. This positive result was reflected across all states and territories other than the ACT (down 43.8%).
