UPDATED LDV T60 MAX LAUNCHED IN AUSTRALIA


LDV has launched an updated version of its sporty T60 Max utility.

Prices start with the Pro Manual at $33,990, the Pro Automatic $35,990, Luxe Manual $38,490 and Luxe Automatic at $40,490. All prices are driveaway for ABN holders.

Both models are powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder bi-turbo diesel engine with 160kW at 4000rpm and 500Nm from just 1500rpm and drives through a six-speed manual or an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Fuel consumption on the combined cycle is 9.2 litres per 100km for the manual and 9.3 litres for the automatic.

Suspension tunes – heavy duty for the Pro and comfort for the Luxe – have been calibrated for Australian conditions.

The driver can select high-speed 2WD, high-speed 4WD and low-speed 4WD.

LDV T60 Max has an ANCAP 5-star safety rating with six airbags (driver, front passenger, side, and full-length curtain.

Electronic Brake Assist and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution provide the best stopping distances while Hill Descent Control makes life simpler for drivers on very steep slopes.

LED daytime running lights, rear parking sensors, reversing camera and Fatigue Reminder are all standard. The T60 Max Luxe adds 360-degree Panoramic Camera, Lane Departure Warning, and an on-demand rear differential lock for serious mud-plugging.

The cabin has been refreshed and now has a 10.25-inch central touchscreen. It has Apple CarPlay or Bluetooth smartphone connectivity.

Open the tailgate and a spray-in tub liner keeps the bed protected from wear and tear. There are four tie-down points to secure loads. Payloads for the T60 Pro is 935kg and 750kg for the Luxe.

Both variants are rated up to 3.0 tonnes max braked towing.

All LDV T60s come with a five-year/130,000km warranty and five-year/130,000km roadside assist.
