Additional E 350 models have been introduced to the Australian Mercedes-Benz E-Class in sedan, coupe and cabriolet bodies.
The Merc E 350 range has leather upholstery, an MBUX widescreen cockpit with two 12.3-inch high-resolution digital displays, multimedia functions including voice control, NTG6 navigation, and smartphone integration via Apple Car Play or Google Android Auto.
There is charging for compatible mobile devices and remote interactivity with vehicle functions via the Mercedes me Connect smartphone app.
The Nappa leather steering wheel has touch-sensitive capacitive panels and galvanised shift paddles. The heated front seats have memory function and four-way lumbar support.
The E 350 range has the Driving Assistance Package Plus. This has Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Brake Assist with cross-traffic function, Lane Change Assist, Stop-and-Go Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Evasive Steering Assist.
All have a turbocharged 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine with 220 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque. They drive through the rear wheel via a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic.
A major feature is the mild hybrid technology which is tagged EQ Boost. This is a 48-volt electrical system that adds extra power smoother throttle response and lowers fuel consumption.
They have air suspension that continuously adjustable damping control on each individual wheel and automatic self-levelling to adjust to different loads.
