Quickest Hummer EV ever!

GMC has launched its quickest Hummer ever, the Carbon Fibre Edition.

It’s offered in both Pickup and SUV form — but alas is still available only in left hand drive.

Only a limited number are scheduled for production.

The Carbon Fibre Edition Pickup not only looks incredible, but also takes the title as the quickest Hummer EV yet.

It does the dash from 0-100km/h takes just 2.9 seconds.

GM sold the Hummer H3 here briefly between 2007 and 2008, powered by a 180kW 3.7-litre Vortec five cylinder petrol engine that was a bit of a gas guzzler.

The Hummer EV on the other hand couldn’t be more different.

This faster-than-ever supertruck is made possible through optimisation of software and propulsion calibration, as well as developments in hardware and analysis work.

In terms of power the most powerful 3X Pickup delivers 860kW of power and an incredible 17625 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful truck in its class.

Additional kit includes unique 22-inch carbon fibre black wheels and all-terrain rubber, carbon fibre inserts in the mirror caps and skid plate, black approach shield, black emblems, black power tonneau cover (pickup only) and 22-inch spare carbon fibre black wheel (SUV only).

For 2026, Hummer EV will offer bidirectional charging capability for both vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-home.

It also comes with enhanced Super Cruise, the industry’s first true hands-free advanced driver assistance system.

Also new for 2026, further optimisation of the Hummer EV’s damper tuning has resulted in improved overall ride quality.

All Pickups and SUVs feature an exclusive Magnus Gray Matte exterior and Velocity Ember interior theme with colours selected to show movement and form.

The 13.4-inch diagonal premium GMC infotainment centre includes a customisable split view screen for consistent access to important vehicle data.

Google Built-In brings expanded entertainment options to enjoy while charging.

Powered by OnStar connectivity, owners will receive intelligent EV routing, voice assistance and access to apps like Chrome, GameSnacks, and Prime Video.
