Hyundai’s luxury arm Genesis continues to expand, with the GV80 Coupe Concept. It’s inspired by the X Speedium Coupe Concept that was unveiled last week in New York. Genesis says the concept combines the practicality of an SUV with the dynamism of a sports car. GENESIS LAUNCHES THREE-PRONGED ELECTRIC OFFENSIVE

A rapid-fire offensive has seen Genesis launch three EVs this month, including its first dedicated all-electric model the GV60 SUV. ELECTRIFIED GENESIS GV70

The all-electric Genesis GV70 is about to go on sale in Australia. It has a twin-motor AWD system that delivers a peak output of 360kW (with Boost Mode) and an instantaneous 700Nm of torque, giving it the zero to 100km/h acceleration in just 4.2 seconds. Genesis Motors Australia has introduced a G70 Shooting Brake, which it says, “brings the timeless appeal of a sleek coupe-styled luxury sports car with the increased luggage space of a wagon inside.” Interestingly the Korean Genesis uses the British designation of “shooting brake” rather than the Australian and United States “station wagon”.
