NOT ELECTRIC, NOT HYBRID – BUT DON’T BE MIFA(D)
LDV’s new Mifa people mover is coming, but it’s not the electric one – at least not yet. Arriving this month Mifa comes in three grades – Mode, Executive and Luxe – powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which delivers 160kW of power and 360Nm of torque, through an 8-speed Japanese Aisin automatic gearbox. There’s no hybrid and no battery electric version, and no mention of them either. Overseas it’s offered with the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 2.0-litre turbodiesel.
