Uh-ho. With slowing demand for full-size, battery electric pick-ups in Canada and the US, plans for a fully electric Ram have been shelved.
Initially to be called the Ram 1500 REV, the fully electric pick-up was scheduled for launch in 2024.
The launch was then delayed until 2025. Then it was 2026.
Recently, the deadline was moved to 2027. Now, it is no more. Kaput!
However, as part of the electric re-think, Ram is renaming its REEV 1500 (aka the Ramcharger) . . . wait for it . . . to the Ram 1500 REV.
Hang on, that’s what they were going to call the electric version? God, love ’em!
