LDV has launched the Limited Edition T60 Trailrider special edition. The Chinese pickup provides suspension developed by the Walkinshaw Automotive Group in Melbourne. The emphasis is on ride and handling in tune with Australian consumer preferences.

Trailrider is based on the range topping LDV T60 Luxe and only 650 vehicles are being built

As well as the suspension re-calibration the LDV T60 Trailrider also has an additional equipment package: 12-spoke 19-inch black wheels; black grille, nudge bar, sports bar and side steps; and a lockable Mountain Top roller tonneau for the load tray.

‘Trailrider’ decals on the sides, rear and bonnet leave no doubt you’re driving a special edition.

The LDV T60 range for Australia is powered by a 2.8-litre 110 kW turbo-diesel mated to either a six speed manual or six-speed automatic.

All versions have four-wheel drive with high and low range while the Trailrider, like the Luxe, adds a rear on-demand differential lock. All versions are rated to tow up to three tonnes with a braked trailer.

It is warranted for five years or 130,000 km whichever occurs first. LDV has a loan car program and 24/7 roadside assistance for the warranty period.

LDV T60 Trailrider is available in red, white, grey and black.
