JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED WILLYS

Jeep Australia will import 130 special edition Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys, inspired by the original 1948 Willys Overland CJ-3A.

“The Jeep Willys Overland CJ-3A is an off-road icon and we’re excited to offer a modern model to the market that features an array of 4×4 upgrades and unique styling that honours the Jeep heritage,” said Guillaume Drelon, Jeep Australia Director, Brand & Product Strategy.

“Jeep owners have been able to experience the adventure, open-air freedom and off-road capability that the Willys has had to offer since 1948, and this is no different in 2021,” he continued.

The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys has a sporty, blacked-out front grille and 17-inch five-spoke gloss black alloy wheels. The bonnet has a military-styled stencil exclusive to Willys. The rear swing gate displays a 4×4 decal inspired by Jeep’s 80-year heritage of legendary off-road capability.

Inside there’s a modern silver-platinum instrument mid-panel feature. All-weather slush mats are part of the package, hopefully these will encourage owners to get their Jeep properly down and dirty.

The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys gains an upgraded Dana M220 rear axle, which can also be found on the extreme Rubicon model. Combined with an anti-spin rear differential this provides off-roaders with enhanced off-road capability in slippery, low-traction situations.

Available in four exclusive colours, Bright White, Sting Grey, Sarge Green and Black, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willys is available to order now, arriving in Australian dealerships from April 2021.
