Based on the standard Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe, the Limited Edition 4C Competizione is powered by an all-aluminium 177kW, 1.750-litre turbo-petrol engine with intercooler and what Alfa calls ‘continuous twin-phase variators’, as well as TCT dual-clutch transmission

Delivering enhanced performance, the 4C Competizione Limited Edition features Akrapovic titanium central exhaust with dual-mode function and carbon fibre exit surround.

It has Sports Suspension with double wishbone front and evolved MacPherson strut rear geometry.

The 4C Competizione exterior enhancements including Vesuvio Matte Grey paint, exposed carbon fibre roof, rear spoiler, mirror covers, side air intake and unique bonnet and roof livery.

The aluminium dashboard insert with 4C Competizione logo is complemented by the sophisticated black leather and microfibre seats and leather sport steering wheel with microfibre insert, both featuring red stitching.

Priced at $119,900, the limited run will include just ten 4C Competizione vehicles for Australia. They are available now in dealerships across Australia

Ewan Kennedy, a long-time car enthusiast, was Technical Research Librarian with the NRMA from 1970 until 1985. He worked part-time as a freelance motoring journalist from 1977 until 1985, when he took a full-time position as Technical Editor with Modern Motor magazine. Late in 1987 he left to set up a full-time business as a freelance motoring journalist. Ewan is an associate member of the Society of Automotive Engineers - International. An economy driving expert, he set the Guinness World Record for the greatest distance travelled in a standard road vehicle on a single fuel fill.
