Benz expands Edition R lineup

Success breeds success and so Mercedes-Benz has decided to introduce performance-focused Edition R versions of its A and CLA class vehicles.

Introduced with the C 43 and GLC 43, Edition R is the Benz version of a black edition.

AMG 35 A-Class and CLA models will be offered in Edition R form, while 45 S variants of both will be available as the Edition R+.

Models feature assertive styling and streamlined specification focused on dynamic driving.

The Edition R models feature a distinctive package that includes the AMG Aerodynamics Package, 19-inch black AMG alloy wheels, and red brake calipers, while the interior is appointed with ARTICO/MICROCUT upholstery with red contrast topstitching and AMG aluminium trim.

In this segment, the Edition R+ is offered exclusively on the AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ and CLA 45 S 4MATIC+, combining a streamlined specification with added performance features.

Alongside Edition R equipment, it includes AMG Performance Seats and, for the first time on the CLA 45 S, an AMG fixed rear wing for a bold motorsport-inspired look.
