Hyundai Motor has revealed the first information about the latest generation of its hot hatch, the i30 N. The i30 N features revised aggressive-looking front and rear bumpers, two large exhaust pipes, a wide centre grille with the N signature, and new rear lamps and new LED headlamps with V-shaped DRLs. The images also show newly-developed 19-inch forged alloy wheels, which are lighter than those of the previous i30 N, saving more than 14kg of unsprung mass. Hyundai’s has added a new variant to its Santa Fe range, the Active X. It sits between the range-opening Active and the mid-grade Elite. Rear privacy glass is intended to give the feeling of riding in the back of a limousine. This is enhanced by leather seat trim, a premium finish dashboard, fabric A-pillar covers and melange knit headlining. In a global reveal Hyundai has released design renderings of its new i30 Sedan N-Line sport sedan. These show low and wide styling with the fascia having an edgy N-Line version of Hyundai’s signature cascading grill. There are also N-Line badging and motorsport-inspired air intake. It has side skirts and 18-inch alloy wheels, with larger brakes showing through the wheels to indicate this is a serious vehicle, not a dressed up special. Hyundai has unveiled the design of the revised Santa Fe that’s coming Downunder in the second half of this year. The Santa Fe’s new front section has a wide grille that extends across the entire width of the vehicle. The lower air intakes have a horizontal line to visually accentuate the vehicle’s wide stance.
