Renault Australia has released details of the 2021 Koleos and Megane ranges which are due to arrive Downunder in March. Update sees the safety provided by LED headlamps and automatic high/low beam added to Life and Zen. SUBARU OUTBACK RANGE EXPANDED

Subaru Outback range that will be available for sale in Australia from March 2021 has a heavily revised 2.5 litre Boxer engine with nearly seven per cent more power (138 kW) and four per cent more torque (245 Nm). TOWING CAPACITY FOR GWM UTE INCREASED

The towing capacity for the GWM Ute range has been increased to 3000kg. Initial homologation documentation for the GWM Ute listed the maximum towing capacity at 2250kg but the Ute has now been re-homologated and certified at a 3000kg towing capacity. Maximum down-ball weight has now also increased, to 300kg. SALES FOR MOTORCYCLES AND OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLES (OHVS) FOR FULL YEAR 2020

The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), the peak body for the automotive industry in Australia, today released sales for motorcycles and off highway vehicles (OHVs) for full year 2020. Total sales for the year were recorded at 108,926 units, an increase of 19,727 vehicles and 22.1 per cent on full year 2019 when 89,199 sales were recorded. The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), the peak body for the automotive industry in Australia, today released new vehicle sales figures for calendar year 2020. A total of 916,968 vehicles were sold across the period, down 13.7 per cent on calendar year 2019 when 1,062,867 vehicles were sold.
